Bethany – APPRENTICE      

Hey, I’m Bethany!
I joined the salon in the summer of 2023, starting out as a Saturday girl—and I’ve loved every minute of my journey since. I’m now working through my apprenticeship, receiving exceptional hands-on training from our amazing boss, Jennifer, and our top stylist, Ruby, especially in colour work.

One of my favourite styles to cut is the graduated bob. I love how many different techniques there are to create it—Jennifer has shown me a variety of methods, each one bringing out something unique in the shape and finish. It’s this kind of creative learning that really excites me and helps me grow.

I’m also developing a real passion for colour. Each day, I’m gaining more confidence and diving deeper into the art and science behind it. From shadow roots to tonal blends, I’m always eager to learn more and refine my skills.

Being part of the Scots team has already brought some amazing opportunities. Attending events—like the Label.M showcase in October 2024—has been a highlight and such a source of inspiration. Watching the stylists around me achieve so much motivates me daily; I truly hope to follow in their footsteps and become a stylist that others can look up to.

Since joining Scots, I’ve not only grown professionally, but personally too. My confidence has blossomed, and I continue to feel more empowered each day. I’m so proud to be part of such a creative, supportive salon—and I’m excited for what’s still to come!
