Hi, I’m Ruby – one of the home-grown members of our team.

I joined the salon straight from school at 16, eager to learn and start my career in hairdressing. I was offered an apprenticeship and, after gaining hands-on experience and in-depth training, I successfully completed it. I’ve continued growing ever since.

Early in my training, it became clear that my real strength was in colour work. I’ve always had a natural flair for it, and over time, I’ve specialised in bespoke techniques like highlighting and freehand balayage. Colouring is where I truly come alive – and I’m proud to be known around the salon as the “Balayage Queen”!

I’ve had some amazing opportunities so far, from assisting on photo shoots to taking part in advanced cutting and colouring courses. Most recently, I completed my Colour Master’s Degree – a huge milestone that not only elevated my skills, but also allows me to give even more back to my clients.

I recently completed my first solo photo shoot with the brand Electric, which was an incredible experience and a proud moment in my career. I’ve also attended industry events where I’ve connected with other passionate professionals and stayed inspired by the latest trends and techniques.

For me, it’s all about making people feel their absolute best. I love seeing the confidence that a fresh colour or new style can bring.
